On Wednesday, 5/11, Newt Gingrich announced that he's running for president.
On Saturday, 5/14, the LameStream Media announced a "scandal" they'd found about Newt: He allegedly owes $6,000 in back property taxes on some property he owns.
Here's what Newt will do: he'll do nothing and the LameStream Media will blow this all out of proportion. Newt will continue to do nothing until it becomes too big to ignore. Then, he'll release some kind of tepid response, and his campaign will be over.
Why? Because Newt's an intellectual, not a fighter. To run an effective campaign, you have to be willing to fight dirty. Newt can't do that. So I'm putting Newt on a "Newt Watch". I'm going to see how long it'll take for him to respond to this accusation. And if he does indeed respond, then we'll see just what kind of response it is. I'll bet it's a wimpy one.
Mark my words: Newt is out of the race before it's even begun. And that's what he wants.
