A Tale of Two States: Arizona vs California

A Tale of Two States: Arizona and California

California is on its way downhill, Arizona is growing. Why is California dying?  Because of the stupidity of the Democrats in the legislature, and the stupidity of the voters who vote them back in.  I present two similar news stories as proof:

California:
A resident of Fair Oaks (near Sacramento) is arrested after he shoots a burglar in his home.  So a scumbag breaks into this guy's home, the guy shoots the scumbag, and HE is arrested.

Arizona:
A 14-year-old boy shoots an armed intruder breaking into his home. No charges are filed against the kid.

Point: in California, homeowners are arrested for protecting themselves from burglars. In Arizona, homeowners are NOT arrested.  In California, the homeowner is the bad guy.  In Arizona, the bad guy is the bad guy.

Hey California liberals...have fun living in the hell you've created for yourselves.  Just remember...when someone breaks into your home in the middle of the night, curl up into the fetal position and whimper "Please don't hurt me!  Please don't hurt me!".  Doing anything else will get you arrested.

Arizona is Number One State for Entrepreneurs

Thank you, Governor Jan Brewer!

According to the Kauffman Index of Entrepreneurial Activity, Arizona is the number one state for business start-ups.

From the CNN article:
"Arizona has benefited from a steady stream of entrepreneurs migrating from less business-friendly states like California. The lure? Business and property taxes are low, as are workers' compensation costs, according to the Arizona Commerce Authority.  What's more, the labor pool is highly educated, as schools such as Arizona State University and the University of Arizona churn out a steady stream of science and technology grads. The state encourages firms to upgrade employees' skills, giving grants to those that offer in-house job training."

That's what happens when a conservative runs the state.  Due to Jan's governance, AZ's budget deficit has been turned into a surplus, all of our fire departments, police, and teachers are fully funded, business is booming, the economy is growing, and more businesses are coming here, which means more jobs for LEGAL Americans.

So California and New York: go ahead, keep giving illegals free health care and free education and free food and free housing, and then sock the taxpayers to pay for it. Keep slapping new regulations on the businesses as well as punitive energy restrictions.  Go ahead...pay $98 Billion for a high-speed train that nobody wants, and then slap the taxpayers even harder to pay for it.  Go ahead.  And then let us know how it works out.

AZ has figured out how it's done properly. And that's why the state ranks number one.

SB 1070 for Obama

Today the Supreme Court upheld a key element of  SB 1070, Arizona's anti-illegal alien law: the AZ police are free to, when there is reasonable suspicion, inquire about the immigration status of any person they suspect of committing a crime.  Naturally the libs are screaming about "racial profiling".  But there's no sense answering them because we can't convince them otherwise.  So let's focus on the bigger fish.

Barack Hussein Obama has yet to prove conclusively that he's a citizen of the United States.  After years of hiding his citizenship papers he was shamed into producing a so-called "birth certificate".  Unfortunately, research into it has raised the question that it might be a forgery. So we're not sure if he's a legal citizen.

So here's a friendly suggestion to Barack Hussein: stay out of Arizona.  You're suing our great state and Sheriff Joe for actively keeping out criminals.  We know whose side you're on, and it isn't America.

But if you insist on dragging your undocumented backside here then don't do anything illegal.  Because Sheriff Joe will be all over you like a cheap suit and you'll find yourself in Tent City along with your "amigos".  And Jan Brewer won't have any sympathy toward you either. In fact, she just might foot the bill personally to send your skinny kiester back to Kenya.

In your face, illegals!!

Arizona Centennial: Portrait of a Successful State

Happy Birthday, Arizona!

On February 14th, 1912, Arizona officially became a state in the United States of America.  And a great state it is, too!  Despite being in the middle of the desert with very little in natural resources, Arizona has become one of the powerhouse states of the union, supplying food, water, and electric power to states around it; particularly California.  Good job Arizona!

Let's look at the good things that have happened recently, shall we?

First, Sheriff Joe Arpaio began serious focus of law enforcement around arresting and deporting illegal immigrants.  And despite the still-unproven accusations of racism from the leftists, here are the results:
  • 2008: Violent crime in Maricopa County plummeted 20%.
  • 2009: Violent crime in Maricopa County plunged another 18%.

Jan Brewer became governor in 2010.
This was followed by:

Result of all of this:
Hundreds of thousands of illegals have left the state, the crime rate has plummeted, and Jan Brewer and the Republicans have turned a budget deficit into a balanced budget with a surplus within the three years that Jan's been governor (Janet Napolitano left a deficit...but what do you expect? She's a liberal).  Which just goes to prove, once again, that conservatives build states, liberals destroy them.

So, yes, Arizona doesn't have the most temperate climate, and yes, the summer heat in the valley is nothing short of hellish, and yes, all we have is cactus and scrub brush (except for the high desert, which is beautiful), and yes, we don't exactly get along with the scorpions and javelinas, but we have a conservative governor who loves this state, a Sheriff who protects the legal citizens, a Republican legislature that allocates money to public safety and infrastructure and still can provide money for the downtrodden, and we have legal law-abiding citizens; Caucasian, Hispanic, Native American and all other races, creeds, and religions, who also love the state, work together, and want Arizona to prosper because they know that when AZ is prosperous, we all are.

So Happy Birthday Arizona!  I'm proud to be a citizen, and I look forward to many more years of prosperity.  When the cities in the liberal states are burning due to riots by illegals and arrogant unwashed hippies, we'll still have safe streets, friendly people, and a booming economy.
